The Danish Kidney Association has worked in cooperation with Skallerup to set up a dialysis centre, which is located in the holiday central building, next to the supermarket. The dialysis procedures are carried out by the Danish Kidney Association in cooperation with dialysis nurse Niels Peter Madsen.

Haemodialysis is available to both Danish and foreign guests. Residency at the holiday centre is not a requirement for receiving treatment at the dialysis centre.

It is assumed:
- that you are a stable dialysis patient
- that you will bring your own medication
- that your doctor has deemed you suitable for guest dialysis
- that you will see to your own transportation to and from Skallerup
